Heirloom Honor Roll

Leaving a legacy gift to AHC is easy. You may: 1) designate in your will a specified amount or a percentage of your estate as an outright bequest to AHC; 2) name AHC as a beneficiary of your retirement plan; or 3) name AHC as the beneficiary of a life insurance policy. We advise you to consult with an attorney or a professional advisor regarding these options and how best to take advantage of the tax benefits. AHC is a 501(c)(3) charity.
There are two ways AHC will use funds from bequests. One is general support for AHC programs. The other is building an endowment for The Ellis-Shackelford House, the historic home on Central Avenue where AHC has its offices. AHC will soon be announcing plans to raise $2 million, $1 million to rehabilitate the house and grounds and recreate the original early twentieth-century ambience, and another $1 million for an endowment that will protect and enhance the house as a public area for all to enjoy. You may designate either option in your bequest.
Once you have made your decision regarding a bequest to AHC, we hope you will allow us to thank you and to add your name to the Heirloom Honor Roll. No dollar amounts will be used; we would just like to recognize your generosity by listing your name. Please submit the form below to let us know.
